How to Register & Bid

A quick guide for new bidders

Create Your Account

Go to our website and click "Sign In / Create Account". Enter your name, email address, and choose a password. Accept our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, then click "Create My Account". You will also need to add your address and phone number, and verify your email address by clicking the link we send you.

Add Your Payment Card

Enter your card details. We will ask you to approve a €0.01 deferred payment – this is not a charge, it simply validates your card. Approve it in your banking app. You only need to do this once.

Register for an Auction

Go to the auction you want to bid in and click "Register to Bid". A deposit will be held against your card. The deposit is usually €1,000 but can vary from auction to auction, you will be asked to read and accept the specific auction terms and conditions. - Always read the Terms And Conditions before agreeing to them.

Your deposit is fully refundable if you do not win any lots. If you win a lot, your deposit is taken and used against your invoice, if alternatively, at your request, your deposit can be refunded once your invoice is paid in full. 

If you win and fail to pay, your deposit is forfeited.

Start Bidding

Once registered, you can bid in two ways:

  1. Bid the next amount – click the button that says "Bid €X" (where X is the next bid amount) and confirm your bid.
  2. Set a maximum bid – use the "Place max bid" button, enter the highest amount you are willing to pay, and confirm your bid. The system will then bid on your behalf up to that amount, but only as needed.
⚠️ Remember: Bids cannot be retracted or cancelled. Only bid on lots you genuinely intend to buy.

A Few Important Reminders

  • Read our Terms and Conditions before you bid – they are legally binding. Click here
  • Inspect lots before bidding. You can view items in person at our Naas premises.
  • Always factor in commission, admin fees, and VAT – the hammer price is not the final price.
  • Pay your invoice by the deadline and collect your lot on time to avoid storage fees or losing your deposit.

Deposit Rules – Quick Summary

  • ✅ You do not win any lots – Deposit is not taken / refunded in full
  • ✅ You win and pay on time – Deposit is taken and used against your invoice / refunded back to you once full payment made
  • ❌ You win but fail to pay – Deposit forfeited
